Sterling Cogeneration
Power Plant

Richard Turlington Architects was retained by Charney Architects to assist with document preparation for a new eco-friendly power plant on the southern end of Yale University's campus. The 15-megawatt cogeneration facility started producing electricity and steam for the university, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and prestigious School of Medicine in 2011. It has reduced their overall carbon footprint by over 24,000 tons annually.
