Skinner Hall of Music
Richard Turlington Architects was the Principal Architect for the renovation of this elegant 500-seat recital hall used for a variety of concerts and performances throughout the year. To return it to its original glory, we:
​
• Installed a newly commissioned pipe organ and loft
• Restored the antiquated stage
• Made acoustic improvements to the proscenium
• Refurbished the existing finishes
​
Much of the Skinner Hall Theater’s success can be attributed to the combination of sensitive and unobtrusive sound enhancements to the stage area, not to mention the skilled detailing. This project was completed in 4 months.
